Review: Danelectro '60s Pedals

Here are some sounds from Danelectro's '60s pedals. All were recorded direct with an ESP strat style guitar with LaceSensor pickups through a Roland GP-100 guitar preamp.

Back Talk: This example was recorded with Back Talk's Speed and Repeats settings on full.

Psycho Flange: Example 1 is a fast flange setting, approximating a rotating speaker sound. Example 2 shows the "thick" nature of the Psycho Flange.

Sitar Swami: This example of the Sitar Swami features both pseudo-sitar lines and rock'n'roll power chords.

Review: Echoplex

These examples were recorded using the Echoplex Digital Pro in conjunction with the EFC-7 Footpedal controller. Both begin with a very short loop, which is immediately overdubbed by pressing Overdub and adding a new layer or two. Then, using the Multiply function, a much longer overdub is added while the original (short) loop plays repeatedly. Finally, the unit is switched from Multiply mode back to Overdub mode, and additional long overdubs are added.
