Reviews

Roger Linn Design AdrenaLinn
Here are three examples from the AdrenaLinn, recorded direct with an ESP Strat and featuring the AdrenaLinn’s built-in drum patterns and beat-synced filter effects.
  Example 1: A rock feel with a note-generating rhythmic-filter effect.
Example 2: Sounds like a cross between a guitar and an analog synth.
Example 3: With this setting, scratching on palm-muted strings sounds a lot like a turntable.

Roland V-Bass
These examples were recorded with a Yamaha bass equipped with the Roland GK-2B pickup (the bass's own electronics were not used). The recording was done direct via the V-Bass’ XLR output; no preamp or additional processing was utilized.
  Example 1: SympFX
  Example 2: 24 Fuzz
  Example 3: 32SalsaBass
  Example 4: 30Upright

Line 6 Echo Pro

Here are two examples from the Echo Pro:
Example 1: This reggae-cum-Brian-May example was recorded with a Gibson ES-355 going through a PreSonus BlueTUBE into Focusrite Platinum Penta Compressor into the Echo Pro.
Example 2: This was recorded direct with a Carvin Strat (w/Duncan Classic Stacks) through a Line 6 POD (clean sound, compression) into the Echo Pro.

Indie Ink
Emma Gibbs Band

Here’s an excerpt from "Black Road" from the band’s Out to the Country CD.
